BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CE-FffAIN TERRITORY TO IIF CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described has for more than three (3) years been
entirely contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to annex said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1 . That all of the territory more particularly described as situate in the
County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit:
Beginning at a point on the Fourth College Annexation to. the, City of Fort Collins,
Colorado, which bears N. 89*281 W.. 330.00 feet, from, .the. SE corner of Section 15,
Township 7 North, Range 69: West of the 6th P.. M. , thence continuing along the
Fourth College .Annexation N.. 89°281 W.' 997..50 feet to the SE corner of the
Fourth Fairview Annezation' to the Ci-ty of Fort Collins; thence N. 00°0213011 W.
along said Annexation 372..70.feet to the .SE corner of the. Third Fairview
Annexation to- the City of Fort.Collins; thence continuing N. 00°0213011 W. along
the Third Fairview Annexation 289.46 feet,. more.or less, to a .corner of the
Eighth South Shields Street Annexation to. the City of Fort Collins; thence. S .
89°2913011 E . along .said.Annexation 497.98 feet; thence South along said Annexation
230.33 feet; thence East :along said Annexation 500.00"feet to a point. on the West
line of the Maxfield Annexation to the City of Fort Collins; thence South along
said West line. 436 .20 feet to the-point' of- beginning;
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said City, to
be known as the Maxfield. Second Annexation.
.Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins, the City of
Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting the construction of water mains,
sewer lines, gas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities
in connection with territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of
the City of Fort Collins .
Section 3. Within ninety (90) days from the date this ordinance becomes effective,
no building permit shall be issued for any of the lands herein described unless said lands
have been zoned under the zoning ordinances of the City.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published thisl5th day
of January , A. D. 1970, and to be presented for final passage on the 5th day of
February A. D. 1970. j
