BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described has for more than three (3) years been,
entirely contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to annex said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1 . That all of the territory more particularly described as situate in the
County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the NE-4 of the SE-4 of Section 9, Town- .
ship 7 North, Range 69 West, of the 6th P. M. which is a.point on. the South
line of-the West LaPorte Avenue Second. Annexation'to ,the-City of Fort Collins,
and is the true point of beginning; 'thence. S. 89039115" E. along said
Annexation, 330.00 feet to a point on. the-Maxwel-l 's�Firs.t Annexation to the
City- of Fort Collins; thence S. 00005100" E. along said Annexation, 264 .00
feet; thence N. 89039115" W.. along said Annexation, 330.00 feet; thence N.
00°05100" W. along said Annexation, 264.00 feet- to the true point of
beginning;
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said City, to
be known as the West LaPorte-Avenue Fourth-Annexation.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins, the City of
Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting the construction of water mains,
sewer lines, gas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities
in connection with territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of
the City of Fort Collins .
Section 3. Within ninety (90) days from the date this ordinance becomes effective,
no building permit shall be issued for any of the lands herein described unless said lands
have been zoned under the zoning ordinances of the City.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 12thday
of February , A. D. 1970, and to be presented for final passage on the 5th day of
March A. D. 197 0.
