ORDINANCE N0. 12 , 1970)
BEING AN- ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE, CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described has for more than three (3) years been
entirely contained within the boundaries of the City.of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to annex said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1 . That all of the territory more particularly described as situate in the
County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit:
Beginning at a point on the Alvin Miller First Foothills Annexation to the. City,
of Fort Collins, Colorado, which bears N. 89043140" W. 1650.05 feet from the
E, corner of Section 16, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P. M. ,
which is the true point of beginning; thence continuing N. 89043140" W. along
said Annexation 110.58 feet, more or less, to the Northeast corner of the Alvin.
Miller Second Foothills Annexation to the City of Fort Collins; thence N. 890
43140" W, along said Annexation 551 .64 feet, more or less, to the most South-
easterly corner of the Valley-Hi Subdivision First Annexation to the City of .
Fort Collins; .thence N. 00031108" W. along said Annexation 355 :33 feet, more or
less; thence S. 89045134" E . along said Annexation 130.43 feet, more or less;
thence N. 00035 '00" W. along said Annexation 80.53. feet, more or less; thence
S: 89045126" W. along said Annexation 200.00 feet, more or less; thence N. 000
33156" W; along said Annexation 884 .69 feet, more or less; to a point on the
West Mulberry First Annexation to the City of Fort Collins; -thence S . 89°33 '59"
E. along said Annexation 331 .11 feet, more or less, to the Northwest corner of
the Miller-Layland Second Annexation to the City of Fort Collins; thence .S . 000
34140" E . along said Annexation 659 .89 feet, more or less, to the Northwest
corner of the Miller-Layland First Annexation to the City of Fort Collins;
thence S. 00034140" E . along- said Annexation, 659.90 feet, more or less, to-
the point of beginning;
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said City, to
be known as the West Elizabeth Street Third Annexation.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins, the City of
Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting the construction of water mains,
sewer lines, gas mains, . electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities
in connection with territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of
the City of Fort Collins.
Section 3. Within ninety (90) days from the date this ordinance becomes effective,
no building permit shall be issued for any of the lands herein described unless said lands
have been zoned under the zoning ordinances of the City.
