BEING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE LAPORTE WATER AND
SANITATION DISTRICT:
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has negotiated with the LaPorte Water and Sanitation
District and has arrived at an agreement providing for the operation by the City of sanitary
sewer lines to be installed and paid for by said District, and the treatment of sewa0e. from
said District by the City; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the agreement negotiated between the City and said District is
attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the City Council it is in the best interest of the City of
Fort Collins to enter into said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
THAT said agreement be and the same hereby is accepted and approved and adopted; and
THAT the Mayor and City Clerk be and they hereby are authorized and directed to execute
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Fort Collins.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 26th day
of February, 1970, and to be presented for final passage on the 19th day of March, 1970.
