BEING AN ORDINANCE.. ANNEXIN'r• `;ERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY FORT COLLINS, COLOPADO
WHEREAS, The City of Fort Collins desires to annex the property more particularly
described below; and
WHEREAS, a resolution setting forth the intent of the City Council to annex said area
has heretofore been adopted; and
WHEREAS, after notice and hearing as provided for in Sections 139-21-7 and 139-21-8,
Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, as amended, the City Council has entered its findings and
determinations that the proposed annexation complies with the provisions of Section 139-
21-4, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, as amended.
NOL'1, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS: I
Section 1 . That all of the territory more particularly described as situate in the j
County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit: i
Commencing at the SE-corner of the NE; of Section 9, Township 7 North, Range
69 West .of the 6th P. M., which is the Northeast corner of Maxwell 's First
Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, and also the point of
beginning; thence N. 8903911:5" W. along said Annexation, 130.00 feet to the
Southwest corner of the LaPorte Avenue Annexation to the City of -Fort Collins;

Annexation, 180.00 feet to a point on the North line of Maxwell 's First Annexa-

Ems,•—be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said City, to
be known as the West LaPorte Avenue. Third Annexation.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins, the City of
Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting the construction of water mains,
sewer lines, gas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities i
in connection with territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of
the City of Fort Collins .
Section 3 . Within ninety (90) days from the date this ordinance becomes effective no I'
�Ibuilding permit shall be issued for any of the lands herein described unless said lands �
have been zoned under the zoning ordinances of the City.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 19th day
of March , A. D. 1970, and to be presented for final passage on the 9th day of
April A. D. 1970.
