BEING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE NORTH COLLEGE
AVENUE SANITATION DISTRICT:
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has negotiated with the North College Avenue
Sanitation District and has arrived at an agreement providing for the operation by the
City of the sanitary sewer collection system of the district, the installation of an outfall
sewer line connecting the lines of the district with the sewage treatment plant of the
City, and the treatment of sewage from said district by the City; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the agreement negotiated between the City and said district is
attached hereto, and by this reference made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the City Council it is in the best interest of the City
of Fort Collins to enter into said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
THAT said agreement be and the same hereby is accepted and approved and adopted; and
THAT the Mayor and City Clerk be and they hereby are authorized and directed to execute
said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Fort Collins.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 27th day
of August, A.D. 1970, and to be published for final passage on the 17th day of September,
A.D. 1970.
