ORDINANCE NO. 24, 1972,
BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE STREETS AND ALLEY IN GREEN
MEADOW HOMESITES, SECOND SUBDIVISION '
WHEREAS, heretofore, there was presented to The City of Fort Collins
and approved by the City, a plat of certain lands known as Green Meadow
Homesites, Second Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, by said plat, certain streets and an alley were dedicated
to The City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have replatted the same as
Valley Hi Subdivision, Second Filing, and in said replat, have dedicated
other streets and easements to the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have petitioned the City Council
to vacate the streets and alley as platted in Green Meadow Homesites,
Second Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, on account of said replat, the streets and alley in Green
Meadow Homesites, Second Subdivision, are not needed for municipal pur-
poses and will not be needed for municipal purposes in the future, and the
rights of the residents of The City of Fort Collins will in no way be
prejudiced by the vacation of the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS THAT the streets and alley, as platted in the Green Meadow Home-
sites, Second Subdivision, be and the same hereby are, abolished, vacated
and abatted.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 20th day of April , A.D. 1972, and to be presented for final passage on
the llth day of May, A.D. 1972.
