HomeMy WebLinkAbout065 - 10/19/1972 - AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE CITY CODE AND CREATING A NEW ZONE TO BE KNOWN AS THE R-L-P, LOW DENSITY P ORDINANCE NO 65 1972 BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS COLORADO, lgS8 AS AMENDED COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE Z04INC ORDINANCE AND CREATING A NEW ZONE TO BL KNOWN AS THE R-L-P LOW DENSITY PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT BE IT ORDAINED BY T4E COUVCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1 That Section 19-27 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado 1958 as amended be ani the same hereby is amended by inserting in the list of Districts therein set forth between the R-L Low Density Residential District and the R-L-H Low Density Tultiple-Family District the following R-L-P Low Density Planned Residential District ind by renumbering the list of Districts to accommodate said inserted District Section 2 That Chapter 19 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado 1958, as amended be and the same hereby is amended, by adding a new Section after Section 19-iO-of said Chapter to read as follows Section 1q-30 1 R-L-P low density Planned Residential District (areas planned as a unit to provide variation in use density and building place- ment) 1 Uses permitted (1) Any use permitted in the R-L Low Density Residential District subject to any use requirement specified for said District and (2) Any use permitted in the R-4 14edium Density Residential Dis- trict with a maximum density of six (6) units per gross acre for residential uses subject to being shown on a unit development plan defined processed and approved in accordance with the provisions of Section 19-44 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado 1g58 as amended provided that such use shall be subject to the additional requirements that the total area covered by build- ings excluding covered unenclosed patio space shall not exceed twenty per cent (10%) of the net residential area of the site for single-fam-ily units or fifteen per cent (1S%) of the net residential area of the site for multiple-family units 2 Minimum area of lot minimum width of lot minimum front yard minimum rear yard and minimum side yard The same as specified for the R-1 Low Density Residential District except where buildings are located on a unit development plan defined processed and approved in accordance with the unit development provisions of this Ordinance in which case such requirements may vary as approved on the unit development plan 3 Parking requirements for all permitted residential uses two spaces per unit for each recreational use one space for every ISO square feet of floor area and for each school or church one space for every S seats in the auditorium or place of assembly Introduced considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this 23th day of September A D 1972 and to be presented for final passage on the 19th day of October A D 1972 ATTEST / if yor City Clerk /�C�C t-f e .-7 Passed and adopted on final reading this lt)th day of October A D 1972 ayor ATTEST _ /'.fiL zuc_ ���C�C�✓ City C erk r - 2 -
