WHERIAS heictofore a written petition, together with four prints of an annexation
map uas filed with the City Clern of the Cit) of fort Collins requesting the annexation
of certain territory more particularly described below to the pity of Fort Collins,
Colorado, and
WH EPEAS, the. City Council has found and determined and does hereby find and determine
that said petition is in substantial compliance with the provisions of Colorado Revised
Statutes, 1965, 9 137-21-6, as amended, and
1411EREAS, the owners of one hundred per cent of the property to be annexed have
petitioned for said annexation, and
ILIERLAS, not less than one-sixth of the Perimeter of the area to be annexed is con-
tiguous ith the Citl of Fort Collins and a community of interest exists between the
territor) to ne annexed and the City of Fort Collins and the territory to be anne\cd is
uruai or %�iil be urbanized in the u,ar future and such territory is integrated or is
capaole of being integrated %%ith the City of Fort Collins, and
MIEREAS, none of the nrovisions of Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, § 13Q-21-4 , aC
amended, are violated by the arinc\ation of this territory to the City of Fort Collins, -ind

IMERE4S, the territory is eligible for annexation and the City Council desires to annex
the sa-ie to the City of Fort Collins

Section 1 1hat all of the territory more particularly described as situate in the
County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit
A tract of land situate in the N" 1/4 of Section 10, Township 7 North, Range 69
Aest of the 6th P M , Laiimer County, Colorado, which considering the South line
of said W 1/4 as bearing V 89051 '30" E and with all bearings contained herein
relative thereto is contained within the boundary lines which begin at a point on
said South line, i,hich oears \ 89051130" E, 180 00 feet from the W 1/4 corner of
said Section 10 and run thence N 00001 ' IV, 180 00 feet, thence N 89151 ,30" E,
70 00 feet, thence S 00001 ' E, 150 00 feet, thence N 89051130" E, 30 00 feet,
thence S 00001 ' E, 30 00 feet, thence S 89051130" N, 100 00 feet to the point of
beginning

Be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said City, to
be known as the Kennedy's West Laporte Avenue Annexation to the City of Fort Collins
Section 2 That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins , the City of
Fort Collins does not assume any obligations respecting the construction of water mains,
sewer lines, gas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities
in connection with the territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances
of the City of Fort Collins
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 19th
