BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO TIME CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, heretofore a written petition, together with four prints of an annexation
map was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Fort Collins requesting the annexation
of certain territory more particularly described below to the City of Fort Collins,
Colorado; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found and determined and does hereby find and determine
that said petition is in substantial compliance with the provisions of Colorado Revised
Statutes, 1963, § 137-21-6, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the owners of one hundred per cent of the property to be annexed have
petitioned for said annexation; and
WHEREAS, not less than one-sixth of the perimeter of the area to be annexed is con-
tiguous with the City of Fort Collins and a community of interest exists between the
territory to be annexed and the City of Fort Collins and the territory to be annexed is
urban or will be urbanized in the near future and such territory is integrated or is
capable of being integrated with the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, none of the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, 9 139-21-4, as
amended, are violated by the annexation of this territory to the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, no election is required under the provision of Colorado Revised Statutes,
1963, § 139-21-6 (2) , and no additional terms and conditions are to be imposed in connection
with this annexation; and
WHEREAS, the territory is eligible for annexation and the City Council desires to annex
the same to the City of Fort Collins .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1 . That all of the territory more particularly described as situate in the
County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit:
A tract of land situated in Section 21, Township 7 North, Range 69
West of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado, being more particularly
described as follows: Considering the East line of said Section 21,
Township 7 North, Range 69 West as bearing N. 00009'00" E. and with all
bearings contained herein relative thereto. Beginning at the SE corner
of said Section 21; thence N. 00°09'00" E. a distance of 2051.49 feet;
thence N. 89051'00" W. a distance of 1210.00 feet; thence N. 00°09'00"
E. a distance of 720.00 feet; thence S. 89051'00" E. a distance of
1210.00 feet; thence N. 00009'00" E. a distance of 2085.45 feet;
thence N. 88046'34" W. a distance of 1449.02 feet; thence S. 01013'26"
W. a distance of 752.00 feet; thence N. 88046134" W. a distance of
1616.69 feet; thence N. 27°38'46" E. a distance of 58.20 feet; thence
N. 53°31'40" E. a distance of 367.39 feet; thence N. 02*48154" E. a
distance of 328.55 feet; thence N. 55001'03" W. a distance of 605.89
feet; thence S. 67°18104" W. a distance of 177.10 feet; thence N.
66°25'52" W. a distance of 200.92 feet, thence N. 07°11'49" E. a
distance of 164.32 feet; thence N. 58*29106" W. a distance of 241.98
feet; thence N. 88046'46" W. a distance of 160.00 feet to the West
1/16th corner of said Section 21; thence S. 00007'17" W. a distance
of 2753.66 feet to the Center West 1/16th corner of said Section 21;
thence N. 89°58'28" E. a distance of 1300.81 feet to the Center of
said Section 21; thence S. 00°04'41" E. a distance of 2725.81 feet to
the South 1/4 Corner of said Section 21; thence N. 88044'09" E. a
distance of 2621.35 feet to the true point of beginning.
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins end made a pact of said City to
be known as the Brown Farm First Annexation to the City of Fort Collins
Section 2 That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins the City of
Fort Collins does not assume any obligations respecting the construction of rater mains
sewer lines gas mains electiic service lines streets or any otner services or utilities
in connection with the territory hereby annexed except as may be provided b) the ordinances
of the City of Fort Collins
