BEING AN ORDINAN'CF ANNf XING CER'IA1N TFRRI IORY TO TTIL CI11 OF FORT COLLINS COLORADO
WHLRLAS heretofore a written petition together with four prints of an annexation
map was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Foit Collins requesting the annexation
of certain territory more particularly described beloi to the City of Fort Collins
Colorado and
WHLREAS the City Council has found and determined and does hereby find and determine
that said petition is in substantial compliance with the provisions of Colorado Revised
Statutes 1963 9 137 21 6 as amended and
WHEREAS the owners of one hundred per cent of the property to be annexed have
petitioned for said annexation and
WHEREAS not less than one sixth of the perimeter of the area to be annexed is con
tiguous with the City of Fort Collins and a community of interest exists between the
territory to be annexed and the City of Fort Collins and the territory to be annexed is
urban or will be urbanized in the near future and such territory is integrated or is
capable of being integrated with the City of Fort Collins and
WHEREAS none of the provisions of Colorado Revised Statutes 1963 § 139 21 4 as
amended are violated by the annexation of this territory to the City of Fort Collins and
WHEPFAS no election is requited under the provision of Colorado Revised Statutes
1963 § 139 21 6 (2) and no additional terms and conditions are to be imposed in connection
with this annexation and
WHEREAS the territory is eligible for annexation and the City Council desires to annex
the same to the City of Foit Collins
NOW THFREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That all of the territory more particularly described as situate in the
County of Larimer State of Colorado to wit
A portion of Section 25 Township 7 North Range 69 West of the 6th P M which
considering the East line of the SE; of said Section 25 as bearing S 00 23130
E and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto is contained within
the boundary lines which begin at a point on said East line which bears S 00 23'
30 E 760 00 feet from the E% corner of said Section 25 and run thence S 00
23130 E 758 72 feet along said East line thence S 89 45130 W 1004 57 feet
thence North 383 25 feet thence N 41 40' E 309 56 feet thence N 57 33' W
845 60 feet thence N 83 59 W 709 43 feet thence N 27 48 E 46 56 feet
thence along the arc of a 650 36 foot radius curve to the left a distance of
169 89 feet the long chord of which bears N 20 19' E 169 41 feet thence S

be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said City to
be knoin as the Spencer Fifth Annexation to the City of Fort Collins
Section 2 That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins the City of
Fort Collins does not assume any obligations respecting the construction of water mains
serer lines gas mains electric service lines streets or and otner services or utilities
in connection with the territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances
of the City of Foit Collins
Introduced considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this Sth
