BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS COLORADO 1958 AS AMENDED AND CONCERNING TEMPORARY PER-
MITS FOR THE SALE OF LIQUORS AND BEVERAGES DURING SPECIAL EVENTS OF CERTAIN
ORGANIZATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 2-4 4 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort
Collins Colorado 1958 as amended be and the same hereby is amended by inserting
in the first sentence of said section after the word 'authority ' and before the word
shall the following words to-wit except special event permits
Section 2 That Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins
Colorado 1958, as amended be and the same hereby is amended by adding thereto after
Section 2-4 9 thereof the following section
Section 2-4 10 Special Event Permits
In accordance with the provisions of the laws of the State of
Colorado the local licensing authority may grant a special event
permit to any organization meeting the requirements for such per-
mit as established by the laws of the State of Colorado In
addition to the fees required to be paid to the State of Colorado
for such permit there shall be paid to the City of Fort Collins
a fee of $$25 00 for each day that the permit allows the sale of
malt vinous or spirituous liquor Such fees shall be paid prior
to the issuance of any such permit
Section 3 That Section 2-33 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins
Colorado 1958 as amended be and the same hereby is amended by adding to paragraph
(a) thereof after subparagraph (3) thereof the following additional subparagraph to-
wit
'(4) Class D - Special event permit allowing the sale of fermented malt beve-
rages for limited time pursuant to the laws of the State of Colorado regarding
special event permits
Section 4 That Section 2-34 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Col-
lins Colorado 1958 as amended be and the same hereby is amended by adding at the
end of said section the following to-wit
'The requirements of this section shall not apply in case of an applica-
tion for a special event permit in which case the applicant shall comply
with the provisions of the rules and regulations of the State Licensing
Authority concerning application for such permits Any such application
for a special event permit shall be accompanied by a fee payable to the
City of Fort Collins in addition to any other fees required by the laws
of the State of Colorado in the amount of $10 00 for each day that fermented
malt beverages are to be sold under such permit Such fees shall be refunded
if the permit applied for is not granted
