BEING AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING APPROVING AND ADOPTING
AN AGREEMENT WITH THE FORT COLLINS-LOVELAND WATER
DISTRICT
WHEREAS the City of Fort Collins has negotiated with the Fort
Collins-Loveland Water District and an agreement has been arrived at
which provides for a tap by the City on the District s water line and the
furnishing of water to the City through said tap and the improvement of
the District s line so as to provide such water service and the contribu-
tion by the City of a portion of the cost of so improving said line and
WHEREAS a copy of such agreement is attached hereto and by
this reference made a part hereof and
WHEREAS in the opinion of the City Council it is in the best
interests of the City to enter into said agreement
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS that said agreement be and the same hereby is accepted
approved and adopted and the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they hereby
are authorized and directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf
of the City of Fort Collins
Introduced considered favorably on first reading and ordered
published this 30th day of September A D 1971 and to be presented for
final passage on the 21st day of October A D 1971
