ORDINANCE NO. 68, 1971,
BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING A UTILITY EASIIIENT IN THE SOUTH
TAFT HILL SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, the owners of the property adjoining the same have petitioned
the City of Fort Collins to vacate an easement across a portion of Lots 5 and 6 of
the South Taft Hill Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, said easement was dedicated for utility purposes and as platted
is not needed for the same nor will it be needed in the future for any municipal
purpose, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the rights of the residents of the City will
in no way be prejudiced by the vacation of said easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the following described utility easement, to-wit:
A 12 foot utility easement across the East 6 feet of Lot 5
and the West 6 feet of Lot 6 in the South Taft Hill Subdivision
in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, according to the recorded
plat thereof, except the north 10 feet.
be and the same hereby is abolished, vacated and abated.
Introduced and considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 16th day of December, A.D. , 1971, and to be presented for final
passage on the 6th day of January, A.D. , 1971.
