BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS
FOR EXPENDITURE IN 1974 FROM FEDERAL
REVENUE SHARING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the acquisition of
additional police cars for the Police Department, and
WHEREAS, at the time of authorizing the same the Council anticipated
using federal revenue sharing funds for such purpose, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate such funds for such
purpose for expenditure in the year 1974, and
WHEREAS, this expenditure was caused by unforeseen contingencies
which arose after the passage of the annual appropriation, and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient revenue sharing funds on hand to
make such expenditure
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that a supplemental appropriation is hereby made from federal
revenue sharing funds in the amount of $186,900 00 to the Equipment Fund
for expenditure during 1974 in connection with the purchase of additional
police cars
