OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES IN
THE GENERAL AND CAPITAL PROJECTS FUNDS
WHEREAS, Article V, Sections 8 and 15 of the Charter of the City of
Fort Collins provide that Council may appropriate reserves accumulated to
prior years and unanticipated revenue received at any time during the year,
and may authorize the transfer of any unexpended, appropriated amounts from
one fund to another, and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to proceed with Block 31 land acquisition,
and
WHEREAS, there are prior year reserves available in the the General
Fund to transfer to the Capital Projects Fund for this purpose, and
WHEREAS , Larimer County has agreed to contribute an additional
$195,000 for the Block 31 project
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1982
Section 1 The total sum of EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FOPTY
DOLLARS ($85,840) in the General Fund for transfer to the Capital Projects
Fund
Section 2 The total sum of TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE THOUSAND TWO
HUNDRED FORTY DOLLARS ($281,240) in the Capital Projects Fund for the Block
31 project
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 21st day of Se tember A D 1982, and to be presented for final
passage on the 5th day oer A D , 1982
