ORDINANCE NO 117, 1982
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING CHAPTER 93 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS RELATING TO STORM DRAINAGE FEES
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has adopted final
master drainage plans for the Dry Creek , Evergreen Park , Greenbriar,
West Vine, Canal Importation, and Spring Creek drainage basins, and
WHEREAS, the Council has further determined that it is necessary
to establish and collect for said basins a storm drainage utility fee and a
storm drainage basin fee for the purpose of designing, acquiring right-of-
way, and constructing storm drainage capital improvements therein, and
WHEREAS , the Council has further determined to amend the storm
drainage utility fee for the Foothills, Fox Meadows, and McClellands-Mail
Creek basins, and
WHEREAS , the Council has further determined to amend the City' s
monthly storm drainage operations and maintenance fee
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 That Section 93-15 C of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and the same hereby is, repealed and reenacted to provide as
follows
"C Basin fee base rate The storm drainage basin
fee base rate is founded upon the estimated or actual
cost of necessary improvements and facilities identi-
fied in the various basin master plans and is estab-
lished for the basins as follows

Foothills $ 4,740 00
Fox Meadows $ 3,956 00
McClellands-Flail Creek $ 2,877 00
Dry Creek $ 3,800 00
Evergreen Park $10,000 00
Greenbriar $10,000 00
West Vine $ 6,800 00
Canal Importation $ 5,000 00
Spring Creek $ 1 ,400 00
All other basins 0 00"
Section 2 The above basin fee base rates shall become effective
on January 1 , 1983 and shall be applicable to all basin fees charged
thereafter
Section 3 That Section 93-18 C of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins, be, and the same hereby is, repealed and reenacted to provide as
follows
"C The base rate for the storm drainage utility fee
shall be as follows
( 1 ) The operations and maintenance base rate (00
base rate) shall be $0 000308 per square foot per month
for all areas of the City
(2) The capital improvements base rate (capital base
rate) shall be as follows

Section 4 The utility fee base rates recited herein shall become
effective on all billings rendered on or after January 1, 1983, relating to
services provided during the month of December, 1982 and thereafter
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 5th day of October, 1982 and to be presented for final passage
on the 19th day of October, 1982
