OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE ADJUSTING THE FEES FOR
CERTAIN LICENSES CONTAINED WITHIN CHAPTER 54
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, inflation has increased the cost associated with the munici-
palities' provision of municipal services, and
WHEREAS, municipalities depend upon revenues obtained from the col-
lection of license fees to offset the costs associated with the provision
of said services, and
WHEREAS, that certain license fees as set out more particularly below
should be increased in order to effectively offset the costs associated
with the provision of said services
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Section 54-9 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins relating
to licensing of trash haulers be, and the same hereby is, amended to read
as follows
"54-9 Issuance of license, fee
The Director of Finance shall issue a license to any applicant
therefor upon payment of the required fee for said license and
upon the applicant' s furnishing a bond as required in 54-10
hereafter The annual fees for such license shall be as follows
thirty-five dollars ($35 00) for the first vehicle, and ten
dollars ($10 00) for each additional vehicle, to be used in the
business
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 5th day of October, A D 1982 , and to be presented for final
passage on the 19thday of October, A D 1982
