ORDINANCE NO 120 , 1982
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CI 1_OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE REPEALING OCCUPATIONAL TAXES
LEVIED UPON ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS, PLUMBING OR
MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS AND HEATING AND AIR
CONDITIONING CONTRACTORS
WHEREAS, Article I , Chapter 102 of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins levies an occupational tax on electrical contractors, and
WHEREAS, Article II of Chapter 102 of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins levies an occupational tax upon plumbing or mechanical contractors,
and
WHEREAS, Article III of Chapter 102 of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins levies an occupational tax on heating and air conditioning con-
tractors, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins no longer desires to
levy occupational taxes upon electrical contractors, plumbing or mechanical
contractors or heating and air conditioning contractors
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Articles I, II, and III of Chapter 102 of the Code of the City
of Fort Collins are hereby repealed in their entirety
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 5th day of October, A D 1982, and to be presented for final
passage on the 19th day of October, A D 1982
