OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY QF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE ANNUAL LICENSE
FEE OF MASTER SHEET METAL WORKERS AND
REPEALING ANNUAL LICENSE FEES FOR JOURNEYMEN SHEET
METAL WORKERS AND APPRENTICE SHEET METAL WORKERS
WHEREAS, §62-3 of Chapter 62 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
presently requires the payment of a ten dollar application fee for any
master or journeyman sheet metal worker before the issuance of such li-
censes and the payment of a three dollar application fee for any apprentice
sheet metal worker before the issuance of said license, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins hereby determines
that an increase in the application fee for a master sheet metal worker' s
license to fifty dollars is necessary to defray any and all administrative
costs incurred for the issuance of said license, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins desires not to
collect a license application fee for journeymen sheet metal worker' s
license or apprentice sheet metal worker' s license
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that §62-3 of Chapter 62 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is
hereby repealed and reenacted as follows
Before any master sheet metal worker' s license shall
be granted by the Building Inspection Department, the
applicant shall pay to the Director of Finance a
license fee of fifty dollars ($50 00) All licenses
shall expire on December 31 of each year and the cost
of any license shall not be pro rated for any portion
of a year
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 5th day of October, A D 1982, and to be presented for final
passage on the 19th day of October, A D 1982
