REPEALING ORDINANCE 113, 1982
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
PROVIDING FOR IMPOSITION OF AN ADDITIONAL SEVENTY-FIVE
HUNDREDTHS PERCENT ( .75%) RETAIL SALES AND USE TAX
WHEREAS, on October 19, 1982, the Council of the City of Fort llins
passed, on second reading, Ordinance 113, 1982, which ordinance provides
for the imposition of an additional seventy-five hundredths percent ( .75%)
retail sales and use tax; and
WHEREAS, on November 16, 1982, petitions were submitte/13,
the City
Clerk, said petitions asking that Council repeal Ordinance 1982, or,
in the alternative, submit the same to the qualified elec 6rs of the City
for a vote; and
WHEREAS, said petition has been verified and cer ified, meeting all
requirements as set forth in Article XVII of the City arter; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to. Article XVII, Section of the Charter, the
Council must now reconsider Ordinance 113, 1982.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C NCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Ordinance 113, 1982 of the Counci' of the City of Fort Collins
be, and it hereby is, repealed in its/entiry.
