BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPPIAiING FUNDS
FROil ACCUiiULATED RESERVES FROfa PkIOR YEAkS
FOR EXPENDITUPE DURING 1979
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has accumulated reserves from prior
years, and
tHEREAS, Section o, Article V of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to authorize the expenditure of reserves
accurnulateo in prior years, notwithstandinq that such reserves were not
appropriated for expenditure in the annual appropriations ordinance,
and
t'HEREAS, the Equipment Fund has a deficit of Fifty-One Thousand
Dollars ($51,000 00)
V014, THEPEFOPE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF ThE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 That there hereby is appropriated fron Equipment Fund
reserves accumulated in years prior to 1979, the sum of Fifty-One Thousand
Dollars (S51,000 00) for 1979 Equipment Fund purposes
Section 2 That this ordinance, upon passage, shall be deemed to be
retroactive to December 31, 1979
Introduced, considered favorably on first readinq, and ordered pub-
