HomeMy WebLinkAbout011 - 02/05/1980 - AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 112, 1979 BY RENUMBERING AN ARTICLE THEREIN ORDINANCE NO 11 , 1980 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 112, 1979 BY RENUMBERING AN ARTICLE THEREIN WHEREAS, Ordinance No 52, 1979, relating to hawkers and vendors' licenses was adopted on second reading on May 1, 1979, said Ordinance adding an Article XIII to Chapter 95 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins, and WHEREAS, on September 11, 1979, Ordinance No 112, 1979, relating to street oversizing was adopted as an emergency ordinance and inadvertent- ly added an Article VIII to Chapter 95, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to renumber the Article referred to in Ordinance No 112, 1979 in order to properly supplement the Code NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that Ordinance No 112, 1979 be, and it hereby is, amended by renumbering the Article therein to read "Article XIV" Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub- lished this 22nd day of January A D 1980, and to be presented for final passage on the 5th day of Februar , A D 1980 ASSISTANT f1zjzat� PZ'Cu '/ ATT ST Ci y Clerk Passed and adopted on final reading this 5th day of February , 1980 ZCATTE Playorlerk Section 3 At such election, the following Council initiative shall be submitted to a vote of the qualified electors of the City "ORDINANCE NO 10, 1980Afed OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS OLS BEING AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN INDOOR POOL AND ICE RINK AND SPECIFYING THE TIMIivG AND FINANCING THEREFOR pn BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF ThE CITY OF FORT a/ac�18 a COLLINS Ballot Section I That a 50-rieter indoor swimming pool and ice rink shall be constructed by the City, with said con- struction to be commenced no later tnan Deccrr.ber 31, 1961 Section 2 Such pool avid ice rinkk construction shall be financed by the General Fund of the City in any manner to be later deter rni ned by the City Council , i ncl ua i ng but not limited to the issuance of general obligation bones if duly approved at an election, or general fund sales tax revenue bonds Section 3 That the one percent ( 1%) City sales tax approved by City voters on February 20, 1973 not be extended beyond March 31, 1980 for the purpose of financing said pool and ice rink construction or other capital im- proveonents " Section 4 At such election the following citizen ' s initiative shall be submitted to a vote of the qualified electors of the City "PEOPLE'S ORDINANCE NO 2 BEING AN ORDINANCE AhENDING SECTION 84-2 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS RELATING TO THE POSSESSION, USE OR DISTRIBUTION OF NO MORE THAN ONE OUNCE OF MARIJUPNA AND SETTING A PENALTY THEREFOR BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF ThE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that Section 84-2 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be, and it hereby is, amended by the addition tnereto of the following subsection "L Possession of One Ounce or Less of iiariJuana (a) No adult shall possess, control , use, or give -2-
