ORDINANCE NO 16 1980
BEING AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING ARTICLE X OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS RELATING TO THE
POLICEMEN'S PENSION FUND
BE IT OPDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 2-38 of Article X of Chapter 2 of the Code
of the City of Fort Collins be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as
follows
"A The membership of the Policemen' s Pension Fund
retirement syster. shall include all members of the
Police Department of the City except those members
hired on or after April 8, 1978, said membership to
include specifically, but without limitation, all
dispatchers, meter enforcement, personnel , jailers, dog
control officers, and all other uniformed personnel
Sucre membership shall not, however, include civilian
personnel such as secretaries , auxiliary police or
cadets
Section 2 That Article X of Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of
Fort Collins be, and the same hereby is, amended by the addition thereto of
Section 2-43 11 to read as follows
"§2-43 11 Conformity to Statutory Provisions
The provisions of Part 10 of Article 30 of Title 31,
Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended, and as
may be amended, relating to policemen ' s pensions ,
shall apply to all members of the Police Department of
Fort Collins hired on or after April 8, 1978, and all
duties, rights, obligations, and benefits relatirg to
policemen ' s pen-ion- for such rerhers shall be In -

Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 22nd day of January -1 D 19bO, and to be resented
for final passage on the 5th day of �Febr ar 1980
