BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS
FOR EXPENDITURE DURING 1977
WHEREAS , the City of Fort Collins was eligible for and
has received funds from the federal government under the
Economic Development Act, and
WHEREAS , the City Council has held hearings and considered
projects on which such funds can be expended and has allocated
such funds to the projects determined appropriate, and
WHEREAS , the funds so received and allocated have not
yet been appropriated for expenditure in 1977, and
WHEREAS, Section 15 of Article V of the Charter of the
City of Fort Collins permits the Council to authorize expendi-
ture of revenue received by the City for particular purposes,
although such revenues were not anticipated in the budget,
and
WHEREAS , the City Council, by motion, previously authorized
and directed the Director of Finance to transfer funds
previously appropriated in the General Fund for contingencies
to the Economic Development Act Current Account of the Trust
Fund for expenditure on the Northside Community Center
project
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That there is hereby appropriated for
expenditure in 1977 from the Economic Development Act Current
Account of the Trust Fund the sum of $907 , 991 00
Section 2 The amount appropriated in Section 1 above
shall be expended for the following projects and in the
following amounts

Municipal Office Complex. 425 , 000 00
Fire Training Center 12 , 000 00
Central Business District
Improvements 83, 991 00
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and
ordered published this 20th day of December , A D 1977 , and
to be presented for final passage on the 3rd day of January,
