BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9-5
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
RELATING TO ELECTIONS AND THE USE OF
VOTING MACHINES AT ELECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
That Section 9-5 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows.
"§ 9-5 Voting machines.
"Voting machines shall be used at each City election
unless the City Council specifically determines other-
wise The City Clerk is authorized to rent from
Larimer County, or other appropriate sources, such
voting machines as may be necessary to adequately
provide for each election precinct "
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and

be presented for final passage on the 17th day of January,
