BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO
THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to annex the property
more particularly described below, and
WHEREAS, a resolution setting forth the intent of the City Council
to annex said area has heretofore been adopted, and
WHEREAS, after notice and hearing as provided for in Sections 31-8-108
and 31-8-109, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended, the City Council
has entered its findings and determinations that the proposed annexation
complies with the provisions of Section 31-8-105 and 31-8-106, Colorado
Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 That all the territory more particularly described as
situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit
A tract of land located in the N E , of Section 1 ,
Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the 6th P M ,
Larimer County, Colorado, more particularly described
as follows Coesidering the East line of said Section 1
as bearing N 00 04'13" W with all bearings contained
herein rel8tive thereto, beginning at a point which
bears S 00 04'13" E 1314 24' from N E corner of said
N E <, thence N 89°3343" W 447 42' , thence S 00 04'
13" g 413 52' , thence S 89002'43" E 447 47' thence
N 00 04'13" W 417 55' to the point of beginning,
containing 4 2679 acres
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of
said City, to be known as the Hiatt Annexation
Section 2 That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins,
the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting the
construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service lines,
streets or any other services or utilities in connection with territory hereby
annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the City of Fort Collins
Section 3 Within ninety (90) days from the date this ordinance becomes
effective, no building permit shall be issued for any of the lands herein
described unless said lands have been zoned under the zoning ordinance of the
City
