BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO
THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to annex the property
more particularly described below, and
WHEREAS, a resolution setting forth the intent of the City Council
to annex said area has heretofore been adopted, and
WHEREAS, after notice and hearing as provided for in Sections 31-8-108
and 31-8-109, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended, the City Council
has entered its findings and determinations that the proposed annexation
complies with the provisions of Section 31-8-105 and 31-8-106, Colorado
Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 That all the territory more particularly described as
situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit
A tract of land situate in the Southwest 4 of Section 1 ,
Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the Sixth P M , Larimer
County, Colorado which consbdering the South line of said
Southwest ; as bearing N 89 59' E and with all bearings
contained herein relative thereto is contained within �he
boundary lines which begin at a point which bears N 89 59' E -
230 O1 feet from the Southwest corner ox said Section 1 ,
thence North - 948 13 feet, thence N 89 54'50" E - 200 00
feet, thence South - 590 05 feet, thence N 7$°32'30" W - 204 08
feet, thence Sout$ - 48 79 feet, thence S 77 32' E - 167 76
feet, thence S 81 05' E - 152 13 feet, thence S 83°3$' E -
319 90 feet, thence South - 254 68 feet, thence S 89 59' W -
632 02 feet to the point of beginning Containing 6 8946 acres
be and the it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part
of said City, to be known as the East Vine Drive Fourth Annexation
Section 2 That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins,
the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting the
construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service
lines, streets or any other services or utilities in connection with territory
hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the City of
Fort Collins
Section 3 Within ninety (90) days from the date this ordinance becomes
effective, no building permit shall be issued for any of the lands herein
described unless said lands have been zoned under the zoning ordinance of
the City
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this end day of May , A D 1978, and to be
presented for final passage on the 16th day of May , A D 1978
