BEING AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO
THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins desires to annex the property
more particularly described below, and
WHEREAS, a resolution setting forth the intent of the City Council
to annex said area has heretofore been adopted, and
WHEREAS, after notice and hearing as provided for in Sections 31-8-108
and 31-8-109, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended, the City Council
has entered its findings and determinations that the proposed annexation
complies with the provisions of Section 31-8-105 and 31-8-106, Colorado
Revised Statutes, 1973, as amended
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 That all the territory more particularly described as situate
in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit
A tract of land situate in the Southwest a of Section 1 ,
Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the Sixth P M , Larimer
County, Colorado, which considering the East line of said
Southwest h as bearing North and with all bearings contained
herein relative thereto is contained within the boundary lines
which begin at a point which bears North - 1042 90 feet and again
East - 190 00 feet from the Southwest corner of said Section 1 ,
said point being on the North College Annexation, thence along
said annexation, North - 94 7 t feet, thence East - 40 0± feet,
thence North - 189 4± feet, thence West - 40 0+_ feet, thence
North - 625 0+ feet, thence West - 15 0+ feet, thence North -
435 92 feet to a point on the Pine Tree Park Annexation thence
along said annexation, East - 1125 00 feet, thence S 00�41 '50"
W - 1067 94 feet to a point on the Third East Vine Drive Annexation,
thence S 89°59' W - 853 64' feet, thence South - 276 60 feet to
a point on the Excellart Annexation, thence along said annexation
S 89 54'50" W - 200 00 feet, to a point on the North College
Annexation, thence along said annexation West - 40 0+ feet to
the point of beginning Containing 28 5231 acres
be and it hereby is annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of
said City, to be known as the Dreher First Annexation
Section 2 That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort Collins,
the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting the
construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service lines,
streets or any other services or utilities in connection with territory hereby
annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the City of Fort Collins
Section 3 Within ninety (90) days from the date this ordinance becomes
effective, no building permit shall be issued for any of the lands herein
described unless said lands have been zoned under the zoning ordinance of the
City
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 2nd day of May A D 1978, and to be presented for
final passage on the 16th day of May A D 1978
