ORDINANCE NO 111 , 1978
BEING AN ORDINANCE 1AYMPRIATING
FUNDS FOR EXPENDITURE DURING 1978
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins was eligible for and has re-
ceived funds from the Federal Government under the Inter-Governmental
Anti-Recession Assistance Act, and
WHEREAS, such funds can be used for salaries and wages, employee
benefits, and other items necessary for the maintenance of basic City
services, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered where such funds can best be
expended, and
WHEREAS, the funds so received have not yet been appropriated for
expenditure in 1978, and
WHEREAS, Section 15 of Article V of the Charter of the City of
Fort Collins permits the Council to authorize expenditure of revenue
received by the City for particular purposes, although such revenues
were not anticipated in the budget
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1978
from the General Fund the sum of $11,140 00
Section 2 The amount appropriated in Section 1 above shall be
expended for the purpose of paying the salary and employee benefits
of the zoning inspector position approved by City Council in April of 1978
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered pub-
lished this 21st day of November, A D 1978, and to be presented for final
passage on the 5th day of December, A D 1978
