BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE III
OF CHAPTER 54 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS RELATING TO LICENSING
OF TRASH HAULERS AND ELIMINATING MUNICIPAL
REGULATION OF CHARGES FOR TRASH HAULING
SERVICES AND CHANGING THE PLACEMENT FOR
COLLECTION OF TRASH AND GARBAGE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows
Section\samhereby
hat Section 54-20 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
be, and the is, repealed in its entirety
Section 2 T at Section 54-18 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
be, and the same he by is, amended to read as follows
"A The own person in possession of any such
premises�or
thin the city shall provide and keep at
his own expense, at all times, such garbage cans as
may be required for holding all household garbage
and household rash All garbage and trash cans
shall be kept i a location within five (5) feet of
the lot line add ent to the alley and within easy
reach, or, where Mere is no access to the alley,
within five (5) fee of the curb line in front of
such premises, unle§s an alternate location is
mutually agreed upon w th the operator Such cans
shall not be placed at the curb on any day other
than the day on which uch trash is picked up
B Grass clippings may be pi\!��ced in securely tied
plastic baqs, deposited at the\ curb line on the day
of trash pickup Such bags sFr�ll not be placed at
the curb on any day other than\the day on which
trash is picked up " \
