ORDINANCE NO 465 19795
BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS
OF CHAPTER 118 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING A PART OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND RELATING TO SIGNS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 118-11 B of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and the same hereby is, amended by adding an additional subsec-
tion (11) thereto, as follows
"(11) One (1 ) flushwall nameplate per business, not
to exceed two (2) square feet in area, to be
located at or near the rear entrance of such
business "
Section 2 That Section 118-97 G of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and the same hereby is, amended by deleting therefrom the
following words and phrases, "except that billboards made nonconforming by
this Section shall be governed by the provisions of §118-98 of this Article
relating to the termination of nonconforming signs "
Section 3 That Section 118-97 I of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and the same hereby is, amended by deleting therefrom the
following phrase, "outside signs "
Section 4 That Section 118-97 K of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and the same hereby is, amended by the deletion of said Section
in its entirety and the substitution therefor of the following
"K Illuminated signs shall avoid the concentration of
illumination The intensity of the light source
shall not produce glare, the effect of which
constitutes a traffic hazard or is otherwise
detrimental to the public health, safety, or
welfare "
Section 5 That Section 118-97 1 A of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and the same hereby is, amended by deleting therefrom the
following, "off-premise "
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 17th day of April , A D 1979, and to be presented for final
passage on the 1st day of May, A D 1979
