BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE MILL LEVY
FOR THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS FOR THE YEAR 1975
AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO CERTIFY SAID
LEVY TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY CQM4ISSIONERS
WHEREAS, Section 137-5-28, C R. S 1963, as amended (1967 Supplement,
Volune 10) , requires that the City of Fort Collins establish the mill levy for
the City for the coming year and certify the same to the Board of County
Commissioners of Larumer County no later than the 16th day of October of each
year, and
WHEREAS, the mill levy for the City of Fort Collins for the past year
has been ten mills, and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Fort Collins (Section 7, Article V)
provides that the mill levy for the City cannot exceed fifteen mills, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered this matter and has
determined that the mill levy for the City of Fort Collins for the year 1975 should
be p mills
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That the mill levy for the City of Fort Collins for the year
1975 be, and the same hereby is, established at 4 O mills on each dollar of
assessed valuation of taxable property within the City of Fort Collins
Section 2 The City Clerk is hereby directed to certify this mill levy
to the Board of County Commissioners of Larumer County no later than October 16,
1974
