BEING AN ORDINANCE ADJUSTING THE FEES FOR
CERTAIN LICENSES CONTAINED WITHIN CHAPTER 109
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, inflation has increased the cost associated with the munici-
palities' provision of municipal services, and
WHEREAS, municipalities depend upon revenues obtained from the collec-
tion of license fees to offset the costs associated with the provision of
said services, and
WHEREAS , that certain license fee as set out more particularly
below should be increased in order to effectively offset the costs asso-
ciated with the provision of said services
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 That Section 109-11 of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and the same hereby is, amendad to read as follows
"109-11 License Fees, Expiration, Renewal
No license shall be issued hereunder until the appli-
cant has paid a license fee of Twenty-Five Dollars
($25) Every license issued hereunder shall expire
one ( 1) year after the date of issuance Renewal
applications may be submitted at the office of the City
Forester any time within thirty (30) days of the date
the license will expire "
Section 2 That said amendment become effective January 1 , 1982
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 6th day of October, A D 1981, and to be presented for final
passage on the 20th day of October, A D 1981
