HomeMy WebLinkAbout155 - 10/13/1981 - APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE SEVEN YEAR CAPITAL FUND ORDINANCE NO 155 , 1981 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE SEVEN YEAR CAPITAL FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins provides that the Council may appropriate prior year reserves, and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins needs to appropriate prior year reserves in the Seven Year Capital Fund in order to make pay- ments for legal matters relative to the New Municipal Building which was one of the Seven Year Capital construction projects , and WHEREAS, there are reserves available in the Seven Year Capital Fund for said purpose NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS Section 1 That the sum of Forty Three Thousand One Hundred and Ninety-Two Dollars ($43,192 00) be, and the same hereby is, appropriated in the Seven Yar Capital Fund for the purpose of making payments for legal matters relative to the New Municipal Building Section 2 That the immediate adoption of the foregoing measure is necessary to preserve, protect, and advance the general welfare and safety of the residents of the City of Fort Collins Therefore, the City Council hereby determines that an emergency does exist, requiring the immediate passage of this ordinance, and this ordinance is therefore enacted, pursuant to Section 6, Article II of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins, as an emergency ordinance and shall become effective upon its passage Introduced, considered favorably by 5 members of the City Council upon reading, finally passed as an emergency ordinance and ordered pub- lished this 13thday of October A D 1981 or ATTEST City Lierk
