ORDINANCE NO 37 1980
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF THE
NORTH/SOUTH ALLEY IN BLOCK 103 OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, the City Council has been petitioned to vacate a portion of
the north/south alley in Block 103 of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado,
more particularly described below, and
WHEREAS, the portion of said north/south alley is not presently needed
as an alley or roadway, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the rights of the residents of the City of
Fort Collins will in no way be prejudiced or injured by the vacation of
said portion of alley, provided that there is dedicated concurrently with
the passage of this ordinance an easement for utilities as are now con-
structed at said portion of alley
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the following section of the described portion of north/south
alley, more particularly described as follows, to-gait
Commencing at the point 10 feet south of the northwest
corner of Lot 6, thence south 140 feet to the southwest
corner of Lot 4, thence 20 feet west to the southeast
corner of Lot 13, thence 140 feet north to a point 10
feet south of the northeast corner of Lot 11, thence 20
feet east to the point of beginning More generally,
it is that portion of the north/south alley which lies
between the south 40 feet of Lots 6 and 11 and all of
Lots 4, 5, 12 and 13,
be, and the same hereby is, abolished, vacated and abated
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 1st day of April A D 198 , and to be presen for
final passage on the 15th day of April 1980
