BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 36-4 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AS IT RELATES TO
DEFERRAL OF PAYMENTS ON SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS
WHEREAS, Section 36-4 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins present-
ly permits deferments of assessments for special improvement districts to
low income families meeting specific low income criteria, and
WHEREAS, this criteria is based upon Bureau of Labor Statistics 70%
Lower Living Standard Income Level of 1977, and
WHEREAS, the Bureau of Labor Statistics 70% Lower Living Standard
Income Level has since been modified in order to reflect figures more
representative of current poverty levels, and
WHEREAS, in order to remain effective, the deferment program must
reflect current poverty level guidelines
NOW, THEREFORE, BE.IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Section 3� 4-6) B be, and the same hereby is amended to read as
