BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 72, 1980,
(ASSESSING THE COST OF IMPROVEMENTS IN STREET LIGHTING
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO 5) BY AMENDING THE TOTAL
ASSESSABLE COST OF THE IMPROVEMENTS SET FORTH IN SAID
ORDINANCE TO AN AMOUNT CONSISTENT WITH THE ASSESSMENT
ROLL OF SAID ORDINANCE AND BY CORRECTING A MATHEMATI-
CAL ERROR IN THE TOTAL ASSESSMENT COST SET FORTH ON
SAID ROLL
WHEREAS, heretofore, the Council of the City of Fort Collins approved
Ordinance No 729 1980, said ordinance being an ordinance assessing the
cost of improvements in Street Lighting Improvement District No 5 and
providing for the payment and collection thereof, and
WHEREAS, the total assessable cost shown on the assessment roll of
Ordinance No 72 is inaccurate, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost set forth in Section 1 of said
ordinance is inaccurate because it does not include costs other than
construction cost
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 That Section 1 of Ordinance No 722 1980 be, and it
hereby is, amended by deleting the word, "including" in the second line
thereof and substituting the word, "excluding" therefor
Section 2 That the total dollar amount of the assessments, set forth
on the last page of the assessment roll of said ordinance be, and the same
hereby is, amended by deleting the sum $4,450 62, and substituting therefor
the sum of $5,062 53
