ORDINANCE NO 106 , 1980
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 95-90
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
RELATING TO THE COLLECTION OF STREET
OVERSIZING FEES
WHEREAS, in recognition of increasing costs and inflation, Section
95-91 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins provides for a quarterly
adjustment of oversizing fees to be made by the Director of Public Works,
and
WHEREAS, the 1980 construction costs for asphalt paving and concrete
work have been received from the contractors and developers, and
WHEREAS, said construction costs amount to approximately 15% more than
last year, and
WHEREAS, it is therefore necessary to adjust the fees set forth in
Section 95-90 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins to accurately reflect
current costs
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 That Section 95-90 (A) of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and it hereby is, amended by deleting the words and figures
"two hundred twenty-one dollars ($221 )" and by substituting therefor the
words and figures "two hundred fifty-four dollars ($254 )"
Section 2 That Section 95-90 (B) of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and it hereby is, amended by deleting the words and figures
"two thousand dollars ($2,000 )" and substituting therefor the words and
figures "two thousand two hundred ninety-six dollars ($2,296 )"
