ORDINANCE NO 37 , 1982
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
REAPPROPRIATING 1981 FUNDS
WHEREAS, as of December 31 , 1981 , there existed a Charter provision
(Article V , Section 10) whereby all appropriations unexpended or unencum-
bered at the end of the budget year lapsed to the applicable general or
special fund, with the exception of appropriations for capital projects and
federal or state grants which do not lapse until the completion of the
capital project or the expiration of the particular grant, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8, Article V , of the Charter of the City
of Fort Collins, the City is authorized to make expenditures of funds from
reserves accumulated in prior years
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1982
from accumulated reserves in the General Fund the total sum of FIVE HUNDRED
FIFTEEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED ELEVEN DOLLARS ($515,211)
Section 2 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1982
from accumulated reserves in the Seven Year Capital Fund the total sum of
FIVE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($5,935) as follows
Open Space & Trails $ 5,935
Section 3 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1982
from accumulated reserves in the Revenue Sharing Fund the total sum of TWO
HUNDRED FOURTEEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS ($214,220)
Section 4 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1982
from accumulated reserves in the Larimer County Library Services Fund the
total sum of TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY-FIVE DOLLARS ($2 ,995)
as follows
Continuance of 1981 grant $2,995
Section 5 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1982
from accumulated reserves in the Water Fund the total sum of ONE MILLION
TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-SEVEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY-ONE DOLLARS
($1 ,237,761)
Section 6 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1982
from accumulated reserves in the Sewer Fund the total sum of TWO MILLION
NINE HUNDRED FIFTY-EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED NINETY-THREE DOLLARS
($2 ,958,593)
Section 7 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1982
from accumulated reserves in the Storm Drainage Fund the total sum of THREE
HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($362,424)
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
