BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS
FROM RESERVES ON HAND IN THE SEVEN-YEAR CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS FUND FOR EXPENDITURE DURING 1979
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore authorized Clifton, Gunderson
& Co to conduct an audit of the Seven-Year Capital Improvements Fund and
the expenditures made thereunder, and
WHEREAS, the Administration estimates that the sum of TWENTY-TWO
THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($22,300) will be expended in the prepara-
tion of this audit, and
r WHEREAS, the expenditure of such funds was not anticipated at the time
of preparation of the annual budget for 1979 and accordingly such funds
' were not appropriated for expenditure in 1979, and
WHEREAS, the City has surplus funds on hand consisting of reserves
accumulated in prior years which the Council can authorize expending for
such purpose pursuant to Section 8, Article V of the Charter of the City of
Fort Collins
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 That the sum of TWENTY-T140 THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS
($22,300) is hereby appropriated from reserves accumulated in prior years
in the Seven-Year Capital Improvements Fund, said monies to be utilized for
the payment of an audit of the Seven-Year Capital Improvements Fund con-
ducted by Clifton, Gunderson & Co
Section 2 That the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized and
direcLed to pay to Clifton, Gunderson & Co the aforementioned TWENTY-TWO
THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($22,300) upon satisfactory evidence of the
completion of the audit of the Seven-Year Capital Improvement Fund
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
