AMENDING SECTION 99-6 (F) OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS RELATIhC

IN THE OVERSIZING OF CERTAIN STREETS
BE IT OIDAIhED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that
Section 1 That Section 99-6 (F) of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, arc! it hereoy i s, amended to read as follows
"Section 99-6 ( F) City Parcicipation in Certain
Streets
In the event a street is inproveo as an arterial or
collector street rather tnan as a residential street,
the City Engineer shall compute the extra expense caused
by such streets being improvEa as arterial or collector
streets and for traffic signalization when requirea
because of collector or arterial status, and for the
e>tra base associated with the construction of arterial
streets Such cost shall be paid by the City at large
out of general revenues or the Street Oversizing Fund
The participation of the City shall be limited to street
construction costs, and the City shall not participate
in the costs of Curbs, cutters, or sidelaalks, except for
those siaewalhs which the City requires to be con-
stricted to bile pats stdnderds "
Section 2 Passage of Ordinance That tic ipineaiate aooption of the

General welfare and safety of the residents of the City of Fort Collins
Therefore, the Citv Council hereby deternines tfat an en ergency does exist
requiring the immediate passage of this Ordinance, and this Ordinance is,
therefore, enacted pursuant to Section b of Arcirle I1 of the Cnarter of
the City of Fort Collins ds an Emergency Ordinance and shall become etfec-
tive upon, its passage
