OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO AN INTER-
GOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE BOARD
OF AGRICULTURE OF THE STATE OF COLORADO ON
BEHALF OF COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE
PURPOSE OF RESOLVING A PROPERTY LINE DEVIATION
WHEREAS, heretofore both the University and the City of Fort Collins
did acquire the real property in the Northeast quarter of Section 7 and in
the Northwest quarter of Section 8, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the
6th Prime Meridian of Larimer County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a concern has arisen between the University and the City as
to the proper diviaing line between those properties owned by the City and
those properties owned by the University, and
WHEREAS, in an effort to resolve said concern, both the University and
the City did commission a survey to be conducted by M & I Consulting
Engineers of Fort Collins, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, both parties are amenable to accepting the property survey
as the definitive boundary line between those properties owned by the City
and by the University
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 That the City Manager be, and lie hereby is, authorized
and directed to enter into an agreement with the State Board of Agriculture
of the State of Colorado, on behalf of Colorado State University, for the
purpose of resolving the property line boundary as set forth above
Section 2 That in resolving said property line, it is the specific
intent and direction of the Council of the City of Fort Collins that the
City utilize that certain survey prepared on June 6, 1979 by M & I Consult-
ing Engineers, Fort Collins, Colorado
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 6th day of November , A D 1979, and to be pre-
