BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING
FUNDS FOR EXPENDITURE DURING 1979
NHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has received revenues in excess of
the budget estimates for the year 1979 and has prior year reserves, and
WHEREAS, Section 15, Article V of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to authorize the expenditure of revenue re-
ceived by the City in excess of the budget estimates for the current budget
year, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered where such funds can best
be expended, and
WHEREAS, the funds so received have not yet been appropriated for
expenditure in 1979
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1979
from the Capital Improvements Fund the total sum of TWENTY-NINE THOUSAND
NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($29,900) , as follows
Lincoln Community Center $18,400
Transfort Subsidy $11,500
Section 2 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in
1979 from the Equipment Fund the sum of NINE HUNDRED THIRTY-NINE THOUSAND
SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS ($939,670)
Section 3 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1979
from the Transfort Fund the sum of ELEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS
($11 ,500)
Section 4 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1979
from the Revenue Sharing Fund the sum of ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND
SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE DOLLARS ($161 ,783)
Section 5 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1979
from the Light and Power Fund the sum of ONE MILLION THREE HUNDRED THIRTY-
EIGHT THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED TWENTY-SIX DOLLARS ($1 ,338,926)
Section 6 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1979
from the Telephone Fund the sum of ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
($125,000)
Section 7 That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1979
from the Performing Arts Fund the sum of NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED
SEVENTY DOLLARS ($95,270)
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
