ORDINANCE NO 178 , 1979
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7 OF
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FOPT COLLINS INSOFAR
AS IT RELATES TO PROCEDURE IN THE MUNICIPAL COURT
BE IT OPDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
Section 1 That Chapter 7 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
be, and the same hereby is, amended by the addition of an Article (Article
III - PROCEDUPE) thereto, to read as follows
"ARTICLE III
PROCEDURE
§7-8 Rules of Procedure The initiation of prosecu-
tions in the Municipal Court including the
issuance of summonses and complaints, shall be
in accordance with the Municipal Court Rules of
Procedure as promulgated by the Colorado Supreme
Court, except as provided in this Chapter
§7-9 Enforcement For the purposes of the Code of
the City of Fort Collins, Police Officers,
Animal Control Officers, Parking Enforcement
Officers, Police Cadets, and Park Rangers shall
be deemed to be Peace Officers, provided ,
however, that Aninial Control Officers, Parking
Enforcement Officers, Police Cadets and Park
Rangers shall be given only such autnority as
set forth in administrative regulations relative
thereto which shall hereinafter be adopted
