ORDINANCE NO 169, 1980
BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 82-3
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS RELATING
TO PARKLAND FEES AND INCREASING THE AMOUNT
OF SAID FEE TO $500 00
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS PS FOLLOWS
Section 1 That Section 82-3 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows
"Hereafter, no original permanent connection for
utility service shall be permitted by the City for any
dwelling unit outside or inside the limits of the City
of Fort Collins until a fee of Five Hundred Dollars
($500 00) per dwelling unit connected is paid to the
Director of Finance of the City of Fort Collins All
such payments shall be deposited by the Director of
Finance in the fund created by this Chapter Only one
fee of Five Hundred Dollars ($500 00) shall be charged
for any dwelling unit, and no additional fee for
acquisition and development of parklands shall be
charged for additional utility connections to the same
dwelling unit In the event that any structure already
connected to a City utility is remodeled so that the
number of dwelling units within such structure is
increased, an additional fee of Five Hundred Dollars
($500 00) for each additional unit added in the struc-
ture shall be payable by the property owner and col-
lected before the building permit for such remodeling
is issued "
Section 2 The increase in parkland fees set forth above shall become
effective on January 1, 1981
