BEING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING DISCLOSURE
PROVISIONS FOR THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS i

WHEREAS, in an effort to provide for a more informed public, the City
Council deems it necessary to establish standards relative to the dis-
closure of campaign contributions, and
WHEREAS, §1-45-120 C R S , 1973 (as amended) provides in part that
any home rule municipality may adopt ordinances or Charter provisions
with respect to its local elections which are more stringent than any or
all of the provisions contained in Article 45 of Title I C R S
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that in addition to the information to be disclosed pursuant to
§31-10-1510 C R S , 1973 and §1-45-108(4) C R S , 1973, as amended, cam-
paign treasurers and candidates for municipal elections shall disclose the
following additional information to the City Clerk in their campaign
reports 1) occupation of each person who has made a contribution to or
for such candidate, and 2) address of the ,place of business of each person
who has made a contribution to or for such candidate
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 4th day of May, A D ,1982 , and to be presented for final
passage on the 18th day of May, A D � 1982
