HomeMy WebLinkAbout077 - 06/15/1982 - APPROPRIATING MONIES IN THE REVENUE SHARING FUND TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND ORDINANCE NO 77 , 1982 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE C= OF FORT COLLINS BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES IN THE REVENUE SHARING FUND TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Sections 8 and 15 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins provides that Council may appropriate reserves accumulated in prior years at any time during the year, and may authorize the transfer of any unexpended, appropriated amounts from one fund to another, and WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins is concerned about the health and safety of the citizens in Larimer County and wishes to install an emergency power generator for the Combined Communications Center in the Police Department, and WHEREAS, prior year reserves are available in the Revenue Sharinq Fund for this purpose, and the use of these funds is consistent with the City of Fort Collins' policy to use revenue sharing funds for one-time expenses NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1982 Section 1 The total sum of THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($30,000) in the Revenue Sharing Fund from prior year reserves for transfer to the Capital Projects Fund Section 2 The total sum of THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($30,000) in the Capital Projects Fund for an emergency generator for the Combined Communi- cations Center Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub- lished this 1st day of June , A D 1982, and to be presented for final passage on the 15th aye ofJune A D 1982 Assistant yor ATTEST hy .4 &=Cc:�t X)rg4r4_0 City C I er Passed and adopted on final reading this 15th day of June A D 1982 ATTEST Mayor %"&L AtLk X&_ft_� City Clerk
