OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR
RESERVES IN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8 of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate prior year reserves at any time
such reserves are available; and
WHEREAS, on January 4, 1983 City Council adopted Resolution 83-7
establishing a Revenue Allocation Formula for the City of Fort Collins
contribution to the Poudre Fire Authority for the years 1983-1987; and
WHEREAS, the Adopted 1983 Budget did not include sufficient appropria-
tions to cover the City' s contribution to the Poudre Fire Authority as
established by the Revenue Allocation Formula; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in General Fund prior year
reserves for appropriation to meet the City' s 1983 contribution established
by the Revenue Allocation Formula.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated from prior year reserves in the
General Fund the total sum of ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED
THIRTY-NINE DOLLARS ($161 ,539) for the City' s contribution to the Poudre
Fire Authority for 1983.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 2nd day of Au u�st , A.D. 1983, and to be presented for
final passage on the 16th day-of of Au ust A.D. 1983.
