AMENDING SECTION 73-32 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS RELATING TO DOOR-TO-DOOR SALES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS:
Section 1 . That Section 73-32 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
be, and the same hereby is, repealed and reenacted as follows:
73-32 . Going upon premises without invitation pro-
hibited.
The practice of going in and upon private residences,
streets, public buildings and offices in the City of
Fort Collins , Colorado, by purchasers , solicitors ,
peddlers, hawkers, itinerate merchants and transient
vendors of goods , wares and merchandise, services ,
books, pictures, periodicals, REAL PROPERTY OR TANGIBLE
OR INTANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY OF ANY NATURE , IN-
CLUDING INSURANCE IN ANY FORM, not having been re-
quested or invited so to do by the owner or owners,
occupant or occupants of said private residences ,
streets, public buildings or offices, for the purpose
of soliciting orders for the sale or purchase of goods,
wares and merchandise, services, books, pictures,
periodicals, REAL PROPERTY OR TANGIBLE OR INTANGIBLE
PERSONAL PROPERTY OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING INSURANCE
IN ANY FORM, or for the purpose of disposing of or
peddling or hawking the same, is hereby declared to
be a nuisance and to be unlawful .
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 21st day of August , A.D. 1984, and to be presented for final
passage on the 4th day of September, A.D. 1984.
